Changes to Maximum Payments at Tribunal

From 6 April 2019 maximum limits placed on compensation payments made via the tribunal are:

Compensatory payment Payment increase
A weeks’ pay From £508 to £525
Unfair dismissal award From £83,682 to £86.444
Dismissals per trade unions, working time representative, pension scheme trustees, health and safety and employee rep’s From £6,203 to £6,408
Maximum daily guarantee for short term workers From £28 to £29
Aggravated breaches of workers’ rights From £5,000 to £20,000

 

Also, as of 6 April 2019, Employers are now required to produce itemised payslips which set out the number of hours worked and how these hours have affected the pay.
