He has particular expertise in working with financial institutions and advising at board level on legal, risk, compliance and HR issues.

He launched Boardside after building his career within the employment law departments of some of the country’s biggest law firms, progressing to partner and overseeing the legal and compliance strategy of leading organisations in the finance, healthcare, retail, logistics and hospitality sectors.

Richard’s expertise spans the full spectrum of employment work, including advising on complex and high value employment litigation, all aspects of Employment Tribunal claims, board level disputes, change management (business restructures, reorganisations and redundancy processes), covenants and transfers of undertakings, including those in relation to mergers and acquisitions.
