Ranked by Chambers UK for 5th Consecutive Year

Boardside founder Richard Port has been ranked for his employment law expertise by Chambers UK for the fifth consecutive year.

The ranking in the Chambers 2022 guide praises Richard for his “passion” and “remarkable attention to detail” describing him as a “true professional”.

Richard founded Boardside in 2018 and has been ranked by Chambers consistently every year since setting up his own practice to provide strategic employment law advice to boards and those who sit on them. With solicitors Nadine Marston and Hannah Jenkins joining in 2021, the firm also offers advice in relation to business immigration and commercial contracts.

Chambers UK is a respected publication that draws on independent research to rank lawyers in all fields of law. Richard is listed as one of the top employment specialists in the Yorkshire: North and East region, although his client base is nationwide.

One of his clients, who was interviewed during the research process, said of him: “He is never afraid to explore all solutions no matter how challenging they may be and routinely goes above and beyond.”

Commenting on the ranking, Richard said: “Boardside’s reach extends across the UK and I am proud to have advised on some highly prominent cases with outcomes that have national significance in the field of employment law.

“I am thrilled to be ranked as one of the region’s top experts in employment law and I am extremely grateful to all of our clients, colleagues and other professionals who have provided information to the researchers and have offered ongoing support to Boardside as we have established and grown this niche firm”.
