Boardside Founder Recognised by Chambers UK in 2020 Guide

Boardside founder Richard Port has been recognised once again by leading legal guide Chambers UK for his “clear, concise” employment law counsel.

The ranking comes two years after Richard set up Boardside as a niche practice specialising in providing strategic employment law advice to boards and those who sit on them.

Since launching the firm, he has advised a broad array of clients throughout the UK on both contentious and non-contentious employment issues on behalf of corporate and individual clients.

Chambers UK is a respected guide that draws on independent research to rank lawyers in all fields of law. Richard was ranked last year and has once again been recognised as an expert in his field in employment law in the Yorkshire region.

In its 2020 guide, Chambers UK quotes one interviewee as commenting: “Richard does not sit on the fence with his advice but is clear, concise and on point. If there are risks, he makes sure that you are fully aware of them.”

Richard thanked the clients who had provided researchers with references.

He said: “I am delighted to have been ranked by Chambers UK, which is renowned for its independence and integrity. The endorsement comes at a time when Boardside is preparing for an exciting new phase in its development following two successful years which have enabled me to establish a new style of strategic legal advisory aimed specifically at the company boardroom.”
