Chambers UK ranking for employment law excellence

Harrogate lawyer Richard Port, who launched his own niche legal practice in the town a year ago, has been ranked by legal guide Chambers UK as one of the top employment law practitioners in Yorkshire.

Richard set up Boardside in 2017 to provide strategic employment law advice to boards and senior executives.

Before establishing his practice in Harrogate he held partner roles at Ward Hadaway and Clarion Solicitors and prior to that spent a number of years working as part of the Leeds employment team at Addleshaw Goddard.

He has advised company boards, UK trusts and senior executives, including those from FTSE 100 companies, on employment law issues, including advice on strategic exits and restrictive covenants.
